The term devil comes from Sankrit - Devi. In the ancient world the Devi (a Goddess) represented the serpent power. In Egypt they depicted the serpent in the hieroglyph form of a woman. Eve also means serpent. The serpent correlates with the kundalini serpent, a part of the soul, that when it rises bestows enlightenment.This is the true meaning of raising the devil. Cthulhu is also a code word for the kundalini serpent - The rise of Cthulhu.  This is what Satan wants, for his people to be enlightened, to gain knowledge (knowledge is power), to better themselves, to make the world a better a place and to live their lives NOT under the rule of tyranny and cruelty.
